Realised this blog's dedicatedly soccer-esque so um, I'll not mess with convention ?
A typical soccer fan hates when the season comes to a close.
See shit happens, and players you swore would always remain loyal display their turncoat ways and leave.
That's why it's wiser to pledge your allegiance to a club than a player per se, because you'd be torn between two when he finally decides to remove his ass once and for all.

Not referring to any particular case (HELL WHO AM I KIDDING HAHA), though it's inevitable that talent is worth its weight in gold (and thus invites interest), I hope people let their emotions do a bit of talking.
