Favourite music
RHCP released Stadium Arcadium and I fell in love with their music-making all over again. Incubus and The Killers were constants, while I started digging sounds by The Kills and The Cardigans. Was a year gravitated towards powerful female vocalists.

Favourite countries
Travelled to many places but my favourite has had to be NYC, for its culture and bustle. Friendliness along the busy streets, the subway, appropriate fashion, kickass shoes.. (Y) Then I opened my eyes to HK as well.

Favourite websites to visit
Sea of Shoes for her awesome vintage collection and shoes of course :)
MLIA, to which I can so relate, and for making me laugh
Facebook is useful for stalking and using applications like Sorority Life (FUN SHIT)
Jak&Jil for her pretty pictures, it makes me dream of hanging around NYC/Milan during their fashion weeks and just going crazy snapping pictures of haute couture/models
Oh No They Didn't is the best source of celebrity gossip ever.
Hairspiration, for all the pockets of inspiration it has provided me. Truly timeless.
The Life List kickstarted my 101 in 1001 and gave me a direction in life. Oh did I mention I'm redoing my 101 in 1001 ? Starting today but damn, is it hard to come up with 101 things to achieve.

Favourite celebrities



You'd have to admit Lady Gaga did us some good when she stomped into the music scene. Pop was awesome again, she's quirky, has a nice voice, isn't stick-thin like some celebrities I know and is pretty smart herself. Haters to the left !

Depp and Damon, as always, for fantastic acting. Henry Cavill surpasses both men in charisma though (that's saying a lot). Acting-wise.. Idk I'm still downloading The Tudors.

Daisy Lowe ftw, don't care if you call her a whore/ she dated a scumbag in Mark Ronson, she has awesome fashion taste and is hot. I liked LiLo a lot too but lazy to go get a picture off Google

Favourite places to shop
Aldo for shoes, Topshop for casual/party-wear, PGMall for bags, H&M for cheap and awesome clothing, ASOS/UO for online browsing. OH Chanel for envious gaping.

Favourite outfits

I'm obsessed with knitted/crochet berets, anything that has subtle lace, two-tone tights, batwings, obi belts, mini dresses and grey jeans. Also kinda dig the 70s revival.

Favourite shoes
The one I own being my Nine West camel wedges, the one I covet being Ann Demeulemeester's lace-up sandals/heels

Favourite things to do
People-watch along cafes/bars, HTHT with Ben on our hill, singing@ Teo Heng, playing soccer, playing board games@ Pitstop. Well, I figured the things I do most'd be the things I enjoy.

Favourite places to eat
Ben& I found this awesome place called Sidewalk Tavern. Manhattan Fish Market is love as well, and really, anywhere with good crab (think Mellben and this popular Tampines coffee shop)

Favourite colours
2009 was camel, red and gold. Anything metallic works wonders.

Favourite games
Sorority Life, Jojo's Fashion Show II, FM2008

Also realised that 2009 was the year I chopped my locks off, on results day
T'was a heartache, but it signified strength and a new beginning.
I love short hair now but can't wait to grow it out and experiment.



OKAY LA I realised I've been blogging more substantial shit here and neglecting piecesofdusk. Should I shift over entirely or what.
