Can't quite believe yesterday marked the end of 2009, was a good closure nonetheless.
Had my first training in new boots on Wed and boy did it feel good.
Something in its freshness empowered me; scored a goal, made good passes etc I hope I can maintain.
Last day of the year was first spent with my favourite boys from the Stretford end. T'was a classy display adorned with glitter and gold, 5-0 was such an unfitting score. Rooney made me very, very proud and Valencia's development has been warming to say the least. I told you so :D
Had lunch/tea with Kai Ting& my sis@ the Cookie Museum
It's a pretty place with exquisite decor and the best cookies I've ever eaten.
Had cookie sampling and I really loved Twinkle Fairy (it's sugared lemon shortbread) while there were exotic flavours like Chicken Rice and Mad Rose (LOVE).
In the end we ordered ice cream with 3 huge cookies.
Not one to recommend stuff but I really liked this place, will go back !
Pitstop (AGAIN !) with some of the S33 kids hahaha I think I'm on the verge of losing my voice what with mad shouting but unadulterated fun; seriously enjoyed myself.
Had dinner and walked around Clarke Quay, HTHT-ed a lil etc.
I realised the Quay's a place to fall in love with. There's something about the burst of life and its scenic night lights that really attract me. Plus I love people-watching and it's the perfect place to do so with a buncha friends, what with the myriad of personalities you'll find. Singapore has never done better.
Spent 09-thru-10 with Ben at his place, just talking and understanding.
Some awesome time we had then, I'm really thankful for this everlasting source of joy <3

If 2009 was a song, I'd liken it to It's All About You by McFly.
Drawing the parallels not cause of its title or lyrics whatsoever, but because the year was drab, repetitive and routines annoy me.
Nothing new happened; feels like I've already done everything there is to do apart from the endless countries to visit.
Speaking of which, the only highlight of the year'd be travelling to 4 different countries (US, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong).
Still, I'm thankful for the new friends I made in school (yours truly happens to have a fantabulous alumni group)/hall and for the old friends to keep. Best of all, I'm appreciative of the constants in my life.
HAHA I can't even remember my resolutions.
Uh, prolly failed to achieve most of them, but for the sake of having something on paper to adhere to..
1. Live and love without boundaries
2. Get a better CAP
3. Avoid belated birthday wishes for people who matter
4. Make damn sure to update and maintain travel log
5. Continue discovering the world
6. Think before I speak, lest I offend
7. Make the effort to spend time with people who matter
8. Play the game of life like that of football - create, enhance, contribute. Seize the opportunities, make the right runs, pick the right people. Above all, don't cross the (by)line.
